KILIHALI
I recently photographed Hokuto Konishi's latest KILIHALI project with Lauren Bennett. We also had the amazing Gina Atkinson and Josh Masuda for hair and makeup. Woo! Dream team! Kili Hali means cutting and pasting in Japanese. What does that have to do with a beauty with a tattoo on her arm you say? Well... every stroke of the tattoo is a carefully cut out sticker meticulously placed onto her arm. I think this art piece took about 2 hours to create.. Check out more of Hok's KILIHALI projects here!

Tobi
It's been weirdly hot and cold this April/May and this light trench is the perfect jacket for every occasion! But on the down side, this bipolar weather is making me feel sick. My nose is always itchy, and I have been sleeping a lot more than usual. I snooze my alarm at least 5 times every morning, but I do have an amazing appetite hah. I need one of those alarms where you have to stand on it for at least 3 seconds till it shuts off. A lot of my friends are getting either the flu or the 24 hour stomach bug. I hope I'm not too!
I am really looking forward to June/July. Though I can't believe we're already half way through the year, we have several trips planned. At work, we've been working on a very big project that we're presenting in mid-June. After that, I have a very big family reunion to attend in SF. Then my sisters will be traveling across the globe to meet me for our annual sister's trip! Woohoo!

Unconventional Wall Decor
Photo frames and paintings are a beautiful way to dress up your wall but why not try something a bit unconventional? I love it when people find a way to decorate in really avant-garde ways—it really makes a statement! Check out a few of my favorite unusual ways people are decorating their walls.
The Weekend
Took a day trip down to San Diego with Vibrvncy to do a few mini photoshoots with some friends, which you can see here! Afterwards, we went searching for the best carne asada fries. We ended up driving more inland to supposedly the best place to get them... Vallarta. Anyone from San Diego that can second this? It was.. bomb. The portion was so giant, I could only finish 1/3 of it but it was worth every bite. :)
