Tone on Tone at Home

I wear a lot of black. I wear enough black to induce a jaw drop on days I’m wearing colour (from memory, she actually dropped everything and ran across the office yelling in excitement). I wear black because I’m actually awful at pairing colours— that’s why monochrome is my jam. I love the textures that come to play when you’re working with a monochrome palette but I’ve always felt like it’s hard to pull off the tone-on-tone vibes at home without it feeling contrived. Is it just me or does the tone-on-tone trend feel exclusive to highly-curated product photography? You tell me.

8 Stripe Transitional Pieces for Fall

With all the back to back typhoons hitting Hong Kong, it's given me a lot of time to browse online and get prepped for my Fall closet. Somehow I find myself clicking save on a lot of striped items.. I like to describe stripes as "subtly striking". So I thought I'd share some of my striped Summer to Fall transitional pieces. Since I'm pretty sure this heat is not going anywhere for awhile... jumpsuit for days

This is my "ready for fall" jumpsuit from Oak + Fort. I was first introduced to Oak + Fort when I was shopping in Chicago with my friend. Took 10 items into the changing room and maybe walked out with 5 things (only because I would've had to buy an extra suitcase if I bought any more). Very affordable, dress up dress down items, unique and unisex (at least for girls). Can't wait to see what's in stock next!

Work Station.

In the era of work-life-balance (or at least the fight for it), it’s hard to admit that I’m pretty married to my work. I can spend hours at the office brainstorming, strategising, researching and getting creative without feeling tired. I’ve never really considered the idea of working from home but these designs sure make it tempting…

In the past 2 years, I've been a lot more conscious about living a balanced healthy lifestyle with the right amount of work, exercise and healthy food. With my recent move and life changes, I've been slacking a lot on going to the gym. I'm very stoked about the new Carbon38 Sayang Collection. I don't know about you but new gym clothes gets me excited to get back into exercise!
