For the Home: A Pouf

I've been looking for a pouf for awhile now just to add another seat to our living space. But I can't seem to find the right one! I want one that's really squishy, comfy, and affordable. Most of the ones I've found aren't made of good soft material. I would prefer a bright colored one but a chic leather one would be nice too. Our living room has a lot of dark colors, so I think a colorful or patterned pouf would add a splash of coziness to the space!

Here's my collection of pouf ideas, also found on our pinterest.

What's in My Pocket

It's October and Fall is trying to come, but Summer just doesn't want to leave! It was 93F (34C) this weekend so I got to bust out some good ole' overalls and enjoy the sun a little longer.

I love overalls! I simply love the hooks on the front, and how easy it is to match and change the mood of your outfit. You can go skater chick, then take off the cap, change up the shoes and dress up like hipsters [taylor swift song]. I like the kangaroo pocket on the front, but I hardly see anyone use it! Thought I'd give it a try ...... Super random I know but there is an explanation !
We went to a dinner party the night before and were all trying to balance a spoon on our nose. It was quite difficult! I blame it on my tiny Asian button nose for giving me a hard time. :\
what else could i put in my kangaroo pocket?

The Orange Beanie

We went to SF for a quick weekend trip before I started working at Sony. We wanted to stay close to my cousins and found this cute and photogenic place to stay! I've been to SF a few times with my family but never got the chance to really explore it the way I want to. But this time, we got to hit all the places we've been wanting to see and hit all the cute hipster coffee shops.

In my last style post, I talked about how I get styling tips from Feng, so I wanted to show you an outfit that I really liked.

Good Eats in LA | Blu Jam

As mentioned in this post, my friend came to visit LA and we decided to go grab brunch. We waited in line for an hour or more for some yummy Blu Jam in West Hollywood. We didn't really mind the wait since none of us were dying of hunger and it gave us time to catch up before we stuffed our mouths with food! If you ever get the chance to go there.. I recommend trying the following...
Iced Mocha
Blu Jam Benedict - Black Forest Ham, crispy bacon, topped with hollandaise, served with potatoes
Crunchy French Toast - to die for! Egg brioche dipped in batter, rolled in crunchy corn flakes and grilled to perfection, topped with fresh bananas and berries, served with vanilla bean sauce
Refreshing mint water!
And then we went shopping with Nala..
Hi Nala!
